It is possible to pause your membership via our special COVID-19 pause button when national or regional restrictions for sports are active nationally or regionally. This button becomes visible when there are restrictions that apply to your region.
Based on the information provided by the Dutch government, OneFit will decide until when you can use the COVID-19 pause. This date will be visible via My Membership in your settings.
Please read all the terms and conditions in the app carefully and they will be repeated in this article.
For whom is the pause button intended?
For all OneFit members with an active membership. If you have a membership through HighFive or Bedrijfsfitness Nederland, then you will have to contact them to see if a pause is possible.
What happens when I use the COVID-19 button?
Your membership will be paused immediately. Normally we use a 10 day notice period when you want to stop or pause your membership. Due to the current situation we have therefore decided to temporarily accommodate all members and have built an extra option called the COVID-19 pause.
If I am paused immediately, what happens to the remaining days I have left in my membership period?
Your membership period will be paused and the remaining days will be taken into account and activated on the moment you reactivate your membership manually or when your membership will be reactivated automatically. You can find the date of the automatic reactivation in My Membership in your settings. Please note that your membership will renew after the remaining days.
There has just been a deduction for a new membership period from my bank account, what about those remaining days?
These days will also be automatically shifted and will follow after your initial remaining days are activated.
Can I interrupt my break before the set reactivation date?
Yes, you can at any time reactivate your membership via My Membership in your settings.
There are a number of conditions you need to pay attention to when doing this:
You can only use the COVID-19 pause function once. This means that when you interrupt your pause, the pause button won't be visible anymore. The remaining days of your current membership will be activated.
Can I extend my COVID-19 pause?
Unfortunately, you cannot extend your pause beyond the date visible in My Membership. We will automatically postpone this date when the restrictions are extended. This will also be communicated via email, on the email address you provided us with when signing up (check your spam box).
When the pause is over, your remaining days will be used first. If you still don't want to work out, you can pause your membership through your membership settings in the regular way when you are active. The 10 days notice period does apply here.
Can I get a refund of my remaining days?
You can not get a refund on your remaining days when you use the pause option. We have built the pause functionality as a service, we do not oblige you to pause/stop your membership.
