When national or regional restrictions are applied by Prime Minister Mark Rutte, it is possible to pause your membership via a special COVID-19 pause button in the app. This button becomes visible when there are restrictions that apply to your region.
Please read all the terms and conditions in the app carefully and they will be repeated in this article.
For whom is the pause button intended?
For all members of OneFit with an active membership. If you have a membership through HighFive or Bedrijfsfitness Nederland then you will have to contact them to see if a pause is possible.
What happens when I use the COVID-19 button?
Your membership will be paused immediately. Normally we use a 10 day notice period when you want to stop or pause your membership. Due to the current situation we have therefore decided to temporarily accommodate all members and have built an extra option called the COVID-19 pause'.
If I am paused immediately, what happens to my remaining days of my period?
Your period will be paused, as it were, and the remaining days will be taken into account and activated when the Cabinet indicates that the restrictions have been lifted in your region. Please note that your membership will renew after the remaining days.
There has just been a deduction for a new period from my bank account, what about those remaining days?
These days will also be automatically shifted and will follow after your initial remaining days are activated.
Can I interrupt my break earlier?
Yes, you can interrupt your break earlier if, for example, you want to use a part of your membership. This way you can always use our online classes or, if the cabinet allows it, outdoor sports via OneFit. You can reactivate your membership via the membership settings in your app.
There are a number of conditions you need to pay attention to:
When using the COVID-19 break function, this is only possible once. This means that when you interrupt your pause, the pause button won't be visible anymore. The remaining days of your current membership will be activated.
Can I extend my break?
Unfortunately, you cannot extend your break beyond the date on which the Cabinet indicates that the restrictions have been lifted. We will automatically postpone this date when the restrictions are extended. When the cabinet gives the green light we will activate everyone with a COVID-19 break. Your remaining days will be used. If you still don't want to play sports then you can pause your membership through your membership settings in the regular way when you are active. The 10 days notice period does apply here.
Can I get a refund of my remaining days?
No, we have built the pause functionality as a service, we do not oblige you to pause/stop your membership.
